THE BIBLICAL BACKGROUND OF “DANIEL FAST”
3R Daniel Fast has its Biblical basis on Daniel’s prayer and fasting experience. “I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.” (Daniel 10:3)
During this particular time, Daniel’s felt the desperate and urgent need of prayer in behalf of his own people. After the 3-week-long prayer, he received not only the reassurance for his people, but also the vision of a Man in white linen (the Son of God), which was the pinnacle of all experiences of his life.
THE 3R DANIEL FAST DIET
In Daniel chapter 10, Daniel was almost 90-year old. He chose to place himself on a restrictive diet, refraining from any food that obscure mental clarity. 3R Daniel Fast also restricts certain food; artificial ingredients, animal products, pro-inflammatory foods, and mind-altering substances. Instead, the participants focus on the best diet that our Creator prescribed for on two occasions: the first prescription in the garden of Eden - “you shall eat every herb that yields seeds and every tree that bears fruits yielding seeds” (Genesis 1:29) and the second, after the fall, “You shall eat the herb of the field” (Genesis 3:18). THE PROGRAM
The traditional 3R Daniel Fast program is a community-based, in-person program that runs in 4 weeks. The first week is a “Preparation week”, which is marked pink in the below. The rest 3 weeks are actual 21-day fasting. During the 2nd week, the participants eat “Cleansing diet”, consisting of food with live enzymes. During the 3rd and 4th week, we go into maintenance diet by adding cooked variety. Click here for more information on cleansing and maintenance diet.

Typical Program Schedule - Information
Orientation Day: Sign the necessary forms and get your materials, including a binder for handouts, name tags, etc. Each program may include different packages.
Meal served: That’s right. A healthy Daniel Fast meal is provided at the seminar location so that you can come to the meeting directly from work.
Variety of Health Presentations: Most lectures are presented by health professionals to help make your Daniel Fast experience successful.
Cooking Demo: Learn how to make simple and delicious food the Daniel Fast way.
Prayer Seminar: These short presentations on the Holy Spirit and prayer will boost your prayer life. Learn the secret of fervent and effective prayer.
Health Screening: Want to see the bad numbers going down? There will be pre- and post-program tests including body mass index, blood pressure, blood sugar, total cholesterol, and more. Services are offered by local healthcare professionals and may vary by program location. Additional fees may apply.
Daniel Fast Social (Potluck): Potluck brings the group together. Not a chef? Don’t worry. Just bring your cut fruits or any simple Daniel Fast approved food.
Graduation Day: Invite your friend and family. Share your story and inspire others. There is no test for the Graduation Certificate but only good attendance.
Graduation Reception (Potluck): Congratulations! You’ve completed 3 weeks of fasting! This plant-based dinner will be remembered as one of your best meals ever
